RIFCON GmbH was founded in 2000 to make an important contribution to consumer, environmental and nature 
protection. About 200 employees work in the areas agrosciences, environmental planning and sustainability. 
In the field of agrosciences we are offering comprehensive professional services for the registration of synthetic 
and biological plant protection and EU fertilising products (e.g. biostimulants, fertilizers, inhibitors etc.). 
This ranges from complete EU registration packages, general consultancy work to sophisticated GLP field studies and various combinations of these elements. 
 
Our employees work either at our headquarter in Hirschberg, very close to the beautiful city of Heidelberg, at our offices in Ludwigshafen or from home.
 
For our Chemistry team in Hirschberg, we are looking for an expert in analytical methods and physical-chemical 
properties of plant protection products.
These tasks are waiting for you
  • Giving scientific and senior advice to our technical experts (ecotoxicology, toxicology, consumer safety, environmental fate and field studies)
  • Preparing and checking of EU dossiers against current EU regulations and national requirements
  • Monitoring of external lab studies on analytical methods and physical-chemical properties
  • Communicating with clients, authorities and external laboratories 
  • Strategic consultancy to our clients
  • Preparing expert statements
  • Evaluating authority requests and commenting
  • Project management 
  • CLP
You convince us with
  • Scientific background (chemist or equivalent discipline)
  • Professional experience in “Analytical Methods” and/or “Physical-Chemical Properties” in the regulatory         context of (agro)-chemical registration (consultancy, authority, or industry) is beneficial
  • Practical experience in analytical methods (e.g., GC-MS, HPLC-MS/MS, IC-MS) and/or determination of      physicochemical properties is required 
  • Experience as a study director is beneficial
  • Experience in scientific reporting of analytical methods and EU related guidelines is beneficial
  • Experience in GLP is advantageous
  • Experience with biological plant protection (e.g. micro-organisms) is advantageous
  • Very good level of written and spoken English, other language skills are advantageous 
  • Self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and team player skills
